Have taken away happy memories again.

Lovely quirky decor, preserved period features. I tried the eggs Florentine, the eggs were slightly underdone but delicious, if a bit too salty. Vegan options available.

Randomly came across Fitzbillies and had to go inside. It's a beautiful store in front and cafe inside. Don't be fooled and think it's a small venue as once you get into the cafe it's quite sizeable. We had a simple scone and tea but it was lovely and hit the spot. Service was also lovely. There are a few around Cambridge so definitely pop in!

We tried the same it was a good preparation but it’s too heavy and sweet. I am not a person who enjoys so much of sugar in a sweet.

Grew up in Cambridge & Fitzbillies Chelsea buns were always a firm favourite. Live in Australia now & Visited again last week for the first time in 35 years & it was wonderful to be transported back in time.

This place is famous for its Chelsea buns.

Nice place with a fancy, quirky touch. The food tastes very good, the Avocado toast looks good and tasted even better. Only 4 stars though as the prices are quite high for the relatively small food portions. The full English breakfast cost £10 but if you’re very hungry you won’t be filled after that. Also no baked beans!

One can just give a try on buns if passing by or else it can be skipped. Would suggest one bun for two. It’s a perfect pairing with black coffee.

Chelsea buns were just as I remembered them but the whole experience has changed & we enjoyed breakfast there a couple of mornings also.
